Prof. Dr. Daniel Pérez-Fentes, MD, PhD, received his Medical Degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 2002 and finished the Urology specialization in 2008. Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) since 2011. Doctoral Thesis on the functional, systemic and quality of life effects of percutaneous nephrolithotomy in 2013.
Dr. Pérez-Fentes heads the Endourology and Prostate Cancer Units in the University Hospital Complex of Santiago de Compostela (Santiago de Compostela, Spain). He is also an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
Dr. Pérez-Fentes lectures on endourology and prostate cancer in international and national conferences. His contributions include 30 chapters in urological books and more than 50 scientific papers. Currently he is directing 3 Doctoral Thesis.
Dr. Pérez-Fentes is a member of the European Association of Urology, the Société Internationale d’Urologie and the Spanish National Association of Urology. Member of the Galician Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery since 2016.
