Lutfi Tunc is Professor in Urology at Gazi University Hospital in Ankara, Turkey. He completed his medical degree in Hacettepe University School of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey and urology residency at Gazi University School of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey. He completed his fellowship programs about minimal invasive surgery and laparoscopy in Southwestern University Dept. of Urology, Dallas, Texas, U.S.A and SLK Klinikum Heilbronn, Heildelberg University, Germany. His main fields of interest are minimal invasive surgery and endourology, with focus on laparoscopic&robotic surgery and laser enucleation of prostate surgery. He is one of the trainers of basic laparoscopic skills hands-on education in European Urology Residents Education Programme (EUREP).

He is a member of European Association of Urology (EAU) and European Association of Urology Section of Uro-technology (ESUT).

Dr. Tunc has performed more than 1500 cases of laparoscopy&robotic surgery and more than 800 cases of HoLEP & ThuLEP.
