Mr Petros Tsafrakidis is a Consultant Urological Surgeon in NHS Fife in Scotland with a specialist interest in BPH surgical treatment, andrology and urethral reconstruction and has completed an andrology fellowship in Mid-Essex.

He is a fellow of the European Board of Urology, the Royal College of Surgeons of England, faculty member of the European Section of Urology of the Office and also an honorary lecturer in St Andrews University Medical School.

He has introduced the Urolift procedure in NHS Scotland and currently leads the only purely out-patient based Urolift Service in Europe.

He also has a keen interest in KTP (180W) green light prostatectomy and Rezum.

He is a strong advocate of the development of day case surgical units and simulation training for the improvement of surgical skills of urology trainees and he is a tutor of the BPH minimal invasive technologies section for the Urology ChM at the University of Edinburgh.

Management of hypogonadism and prostate cancer diagnostics are also in his interests.
